    Armenia hosted a groundbreaking international conference today, themed “A World without Barriers,” dedicated to the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) that brought together an impressive list of high level partners, marking commitment towards promoting, protecting and ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities. Organized by the Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the UN Partnership to Promote the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the two-day conference is supported by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and USAID-funded Armenia Pension Reform Implementation Programme (PRIP).
