The report on application by Armenian courts of the "Right to work and of the rights to enjoyment of just and favorable conditions of work" secured by the UN Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights is based on the analysis conducted by a group of UNDP national experts. The report highlights main issues within the national legislation vis-a-vis the Covenant and lack of mechanisms to support proper implementation by the courts of the Covenant. The report is prepared and published in the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Armenia office "Protecting Human Rights and Promoting Human Rights and Human Rights Education" and "Strengthening the Human Rights Capacity of the Human Rights Defender's Office" projects with financial support of UNDP and Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). The report was prepared as of January 2008 and published in 2009.
